Molly Harragin

Molly has been teaching at Dolphin's Leap since 2014. She discovered yoga in Bali aged twenty. It was love at first sight. Her first training was a Jivamukti teacher training in Dorset which she followed with a year apprenticeship. She then started teaching at yoga studios and with private clients in London and began to teach on retreats. A few years later she did an 18 month yoga therapy diploma with Yogacampus to learn more about working with people with injuries and illness. She has added to her toolkit with courses in yoga nidra, thai yoga massage, EFT, yin yoga, and is currently studying an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regents University. She is very passionate about the mindbody connection.

Molly sequences her retreats through the chakra model. Every day you will be exploring a new chakra physically, mentally, and energetically. The morning classes will focus more on the physical body aiming to open and strengthen and the evening classes will be more relaxing and will explore more of the energetic aspect. There will be an optional meditation every morning down on the beach. Molly hopes you will use the week to rediscover yourself through these ancient practices and find more balance and harmony in your life.

"Not having done any Yoga before I found Molly to be an amazing teacher. She is very clear with her instruction and explanations of Yoga. With dedicated patience she transformed all my misconception about Yoga into a confirmed supporter. I have even missed it since my return home and noticed the benefit that the yoga had made to me when I played tennis the day after returning."

"Molly is a truly wonderful teacher. Her classes challenge and teach and her character supports and encourages. Throughout the week she takes you on a journey which enriches both body and mind. Her classes together with Dolphin's Leap, the house, the setting and Pippa and Nick is a completely magical concoction! Somewhere that will be hard not to come back to. 5 stars from me!"

"Molly is a hugely inspiring teacher and I love the fact that Jivamukti changes each month so you always have something new to focus on. Plus she uses the amazing Jivamukti China Gel when making adjustments; I’ve had comments about how good I smell when I come out of her classes – not a comment I normally get post yoga!"

"A really excellent Jivamukti teacher. She taught a regular class in the morning and a more restorative session towards the end of the day. It was a mixed group and Molly did well in meeting everybody's needs."

Carlotta Lucking

Carlotta is a motivated Yoga Instructor with advanced training in yoga and specialisation in Sivananda principles. She has been inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health and fitness goals for over 19 years.

Carlotta has studied the art of meditation extensively with Burgs, whose teachings have helped in her development as a yoga instructor and have enabled her to bring much more to a yoga class in the art of breath and relaxation. She teaches students correct postures to ensure maximum benefit and safety, and provides guided meditation at the beginning and end of each class to help students to centre themselves and get the most out of each class.

Her teaching focuses on Hatha yoga (which works the body through postures [Asana’s] and breath awareness) and on the special techniques of Pranayama - breath control, raising and balancing your psychosomatic energy, boosting your health and mental concentration. Control of the breath leads to control of the mind.

"Carlotta is a brilliantly inspiring teacher. I cannot believe that I have progressed so quickly in her classes from one minute being a complete beginner to the next, stretching with ease in many quite demanding 'intermediate' poses. She has given me such confidence in myself and I have felt so positively encouraged and guided with such professionalism and care. I love the structure of each class: the beginning of each session always devoted to working with the breath, a series of exercises designed to calm the mind and release tension and stresses of the day which she delivers in such a soothing voice; followed by direction in whole body stretches which engage and challenge, to the final deep relaxation and release."

Bonnie Prentice

Bonnie is a registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist at the 700-hour level who received her certification from the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda in Boulder, Colorado in Classical style yoga. Over the years of her personal practice, she has participated in a number of different styles of yoga including Jivamukti, Iyengar, and Ashtanga which all have a big influence on her personal style of teaching. More recently, in addition to the classical yoga she teaches, she has added an emerging new paradigm of alignment that focuses on developing the natural curves of the body to maximize agility and empowered lightness, known as “bowspring yoga”. This optimal blueprint of alignment returns the natural waves and spirals of the spine (nature is wavy and spiralling) and is something you will take into every part of your life. You will learn how to engage the fascia and the muscles to hold up the bones (instead of collapsing into the joints) alleviating chronic pain and future joint replacements.

She has over 30 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings to include large and small groups, private one-on-one, yoga therapy, teaching in health clubs, fitness centers, community centers, and rehabilitation facilities. She developed the first Yoga program for stroke survivors in Colorado. She is also a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Thai Massage Therapist, Tibetan Cranial Practitioner and has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapy.

"Thank you Bonnie Prentice for the most amazing heartfelt yoga journey and teaching. This place has opened my mind and taken my breath away and taught me the essence of yoga and tuning into your inner self."

"The yoga sessions with Bonnie were perfect. She was warm and encouraging to everyone, and always had new poses to try so that each class was unique (not easy with 11 classes over the course of the week). Even when parts of the classes were challenging I felt mentally and physically refreshed and inspired after each one."

"Bonnie is a fabulous teacher showing empathy and a great understanding of her students' needs. Always willing to demonstrate and correct postures to aid performance, while considering the individual limitations and strengths and weaknesses of the participant."

Laura McDonald

Laura has been practising yoga since 2005. Her first introduction to yoga was Bikram yoga, she loved the feeling of practising in a hot room straight away and quickly became a regular and dedicated practitioner. In 2009 she trained to become a teacher at Bikram’s Yoga College of India in Palm Desert, California, and has been teaching full time ever since. In 2016 she discovered Yin Yoga and travelled to Vancouver, Canada to study with Bernie Clark. This training fundamentally changed her view on both teaching and practising yoga. She was introduced to the idea of skeletal variation and how this affects the ability to do certain poses. She has since completed a further two Yin Yoga trainings with Jo Phee, and this now forms the basis of her teaching practice. Laura prides her self on teaching yoga for every body, helping everyone to enjoy the benefits of a yoga practice. She teaches passionately and compassionately and loves to share her passion with others.
